One (Incredible)- Got Em

Download for free a Brand New Song Imba Nami by Grace Matata ft Otuck

On Fear, Insecurities, Confusion and Love (Imba Nami)

"Halo halo baby, kila kitu ndivyo sivyo,
Ila nimekuja tu mi nilivyo,
Itakuwaje?
I was thinking maybe, tukienda taratibu, tutapata majibu.
Unaonaje?
Maisha ni magumu, tumekwama humu,
Itakuwaje?
Itakuwaje?
Hawajali, walimwengu wakali,
Tuko mbali, na nyumbani.
Tukiwa wawili, najua hatuto feli,
Kaa nami imba nami.

Halo halo baby,
Hofu mimi ninahisi, kupendana si rahisi,
Itakuwaje?
I was thinking maybe, kama tukiamua,
Pamoja tutakua,
We can grow.
Nje baridi, nayo inazidi,
Inazidi, inazidi.
Tukiwa wakweli, tutafika mbali,
Kaa nami, imba nami"
Halo Halo

Insecurities. I have mine (trust me, quite a lot!). They range from "am I good enough?" to "I am too much". I catch myself feeling unworthy at times. I question myself on why I should have somethings that I have in my life. And other times, the issue comes from not having enough. Not beeing enough. I can get insecure. It is human and it is ok.
Confusion. I do get confused at times. Its not always black and white the way I like it. As we grow up, we learn there are many shades in between. I find myself in the "in between" sometime. It is ok, I always find my way in the end.
Fear. I have my fears. I have the fear of loosing. People and things and feeling (especially feelings). At times, I am so scared of loosing a good feeling, I won't even try to get it in the first place. The pain that comes from loosing that feeling, I hate it. But I fear it even more. I get scared sometimes, it is ok.
But this is what I've decided, I REFUSE to let my fears, insecurities and all the confusion stop me from living and loving the best that I can.
I have so much to give and sooooo much love to give. I will not let confusion, fear and insecurities hold me back. If you are of the same state of mind, get to singing this with me : )

BIG GREEN TREE

Big green tree
Once I saw a big green tree,
With kids playing under it,
But now the kids are hiding in their mother’s hands
For protection,

From their mother’s cries calling their fathers
Who are in the war front section.
 It was a random selection,
 No one had these expectations,
But it’s time to accomplish this  politician mission,

 I look to the left,
And is saw another big green tree,
But this is in a big fancy fenced house,
With the mother and kids playing with great applause,
To their father in the house-office
Who keeps asking if winning the war is that close,

“Send in another troops” are the words coming from this
Politics mind,
Is it mankind or unkind he never mind,
To him, his soul and the mission are bound,

Now I look in front,
I saw the battle zone,
Hungry soldiers, with tiresome faces sitting on the stones,
Carrying these long black barrel things,
With some small gold-coated balls in it,
Which  can take the life of a human being in a minute

“Bang bang” are the sounds which are heard by the young ears in
These streets,
“Run Run” are  the words they hear from their mothers since peace
Parted these streets
“Don’t die”, “I’m so sorry”, “where does it pain”, “hold on,”
Are the words which replace the equipments
On their empty first aid kits.

Famine smiles as it get near to their homes,
No one works; I stare at these deserted farms,
The winds has no its beautiful aroma anymore,
It’s full of smokes and smell of dead bodies died
A while ago,

The sounds of chirping birds which travelled
Through these winds have gone,
I now hear sounds of children and mother cries
Who are left alone?

Is peace that expensive that Africa can’t buy?
Or in the peace market some foreign nations
 Make the price get high,

Is war that necessary that if we leave it we die?
Why if there is no war, then we are in a fake peace?
Children crying for food, then global warming and toxic food
Are the answers they get instead?
Now is that peace or its just a piece of the newly mixed up peace,

My diamonds, my gold
I thought it could lead the path to richness
But ooh my GOD it has been the source of this mess
At first they were a bless, but now mixed up with injustice, oppression
Ignorance
It has turned to be a cocktail of curse
,
When will love hate?
When will love show to everybody that’s it’s in everyone heart?
When will love seriously hate war,
Thus every heart should hate war,
Lets part with hate and love meet with peace,
I hope those trees will have children under it,
Playing as one, no matter their races,
Singing this WORLD WILL BE A BETTER PLACE!!!!! PEACE

Nyota Njema ya Mtaa Mixtape On Sale Now

Nyota Njema ya mtaa is the first studio mixtape by rapper Chaba. It was released on 26th Jan 2013.

Background
Chaba announced the mixtape to the public in mid-2012, by releasing singles (as a "prelude" to the mixtape), the first single was Kibaoo!! Featuring an upcoming singer Wiseman, this single was produced by Daz Naledge. The second single was Amkaa!! Which he featured Ibra da Hustler the former N2N solders crew member (http://www.hulkshare.com/6dfu41xurwqo)

When these two singles were getting a good response to the media Chaba and Daz were getting busier in Watengwa recs with finishing up the mixtape which contains 16 tracks plus intro and the bonus track the famous old skull by Chaba "Naflow" prod by Chindo. In interviews with Radio stations he stated that "he's focused on making a difference from many other mc’s on this mixtape".
He calls it "Nyota njema ya mtaa (Street good star) "because he believes he is that star ever since he stepped into this world as a baby and later into the game after secondary school 2002 "on the CD Cover which was designed by Kumkichwa you are looking at little Chaba at age 4months. However he did not make the final cut of the mixtape last year as first time announced, he released a third single only on the internet on 26th Dec Pita hivi featuring Nash Mc from Tamaduni musik of Dar-es-Salaam, Which was officially launched on 26/01/2013. (http://www.hulkshare.com/m4ecajkjh8u8)

He states the single as a lyrical flow lesson to new mc’s out there who lately have been releasing crap music in the media. After many of the push backs in last year’s summer, Chaba stated that the mixtape would be release in end of 2012. However it was pushed back, again till Jan 26, 2013... which ended up being the actual release date.
