I Dont Want To Be

I dont want to be a politics envoy,
who is used and then dumped in a middle of trouble.

I dont want to be a religious teacher,
preaching about love and peace,
while his heart is governed by hate and violence,

I dont want to be pessimistic in positive activist campaigns,
nor optimistic in scientist experiments which try to intoxicate our brains,

I dont want to a slave in my own country,
playing the candle's love role,
enlighting the rich ones while my heart is drilling a hole.

I dont want to be a politician,
talking about statistics and escaping being realistic,
talking jargons to an illiterate society,
without throwing some light upon it,

I dont want to be a celebrity,
using millions for fame
while there are poor when they hear my name they blame,

I dont want to associate color of my skin with wisdom, or acting stupid with freedom,
and i dont want to be judged by the color of my skin but the content of my character,

I want to be a poet,
using experience,feelings and words,
to tell the society about what i know and what i "dont want to be"
