Wakunga Zamani experiments with new instruments and rhythms nearly on a daily basis! Here film maker/photographer George Kyomushula captures Emma 'Maasai' Mollel as he leads the team with the voice of kiten'ge, an instrument that he hadn't seen since he was a little boy growing up in his Maasai village outside of Arusha. He remembered not only how to build the instrument but learned quickly how to play it! Every time Maasai plays Mama C says that 'it sounds like blues to me!!'
